Technical Support Specialist

We’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist to assist users across Oxy’s products — answering questions, resolving issues, and turning frustration into confidence. You’ll be the first line of human support, ensuring a smooth experience for users of platforms like Homiio, Sindi, and Mention.
At Oxy, we’re building ethical tools for everyday life — housing, legal help, and social connection — and our users count on us to be there when something doesn’t work. As a Technical Support Specialist, your job is to respond quickly, solve issues efficiently, and always bring a helpful, human touch.
You’ll help real people — tenants, families, tech users — get unstuck and feel supported, while working closely with our product and engineering teams to improve the platform.
What You’ll Do
Provide fast, friendly, and clear support via chat, email, and other channels (Intercom, Telegram, etc.).
Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and user errors across mobile (React Native), web apps, and backend services.
Escalate and track bugs, feature requests, and feedback using tools like Linear, Notion, GitHub, or Slack.
Help document known issues and create internal/external help articles.
Assist with onboarding new users and explaining product functionality in a clear, simple way.
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and dev to improve user experience based on real support data.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in technical support, help desk, or user-facing tech roles.
Strong communication skills — clear, empathetic, and calm under pressure.
Comfortable with web/mobile apps, troubleshooting, and support tools.
Familiarity with React, APIs, or basic debugging is a plus (but not required).
Passion for ethical tech and helping real people navigate digital platforms.
Fluent in English; Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
