Analytics Engineer
Full Time
Remote
We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure behind Oxy’s ecosystem. You’ll turn raw data into actionable insights, empowering teams to make better decisions across housing (Homiio), AI (Sindi), and ethical tech development.
Oxy is building an ethical tech ecosystem — and behind every great product decision is great data. As our Analytics Engineer, you’ll own the pipelines, models, and dashboards that help us understand how people use our tools, what’s working, and what we can improve.
You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and ethically collected — because numbers only matter if they’re meaningful and responsibly used.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and warehouse models using tools like dbt, Airbyte, or custom scripts.
Organize and transform data from various sources (PostHog, MongoDB, APIs, user events) into clean, trusted datasets.
Collaborate with product, design, and ops to define metrics, KPIs, and data needs across projects.
Create dashboards, visualizations, and self-service tools using Metabase, Superset, or similar.
Ensure data quality, privacy, and ethical use in every stage of the pipeline.
Document processes and support internal users in interpreting data.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI — ideally in a startup or product-focused team.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and transformation tools like dbt.
Understanding of modern data stacks (warehouse, event tracking, reverse ETL, etc.).
Comfortable working with devs and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Bonus: experience with MongoDB, PostHog, BigQuery, or Segment.
Deep respect for data ethics, privacy, and responsible measurement.
Why Join Us
Shape the data foundation of an ecosystem designed to serve people, not exploit them.
Help us make smarter, more ethical decisions with real impact.
Work in a remote-first, async-friendly environment with high autonomy.
Collaborate with a small, mission-driven team building meaningful tools.
Contribute to transparency, fairness, and clarity through data.
At Oxy, we believe data should empower — not manipulate. If you do too, we’d love to hear from you.
Who are we looking for? 🤝
If you're someone eager to create something big, unafraid to innovate, and passionate about technology, we want to talk to you.
What about the money? 💰
Be honest, you were probably wondering. The reality is that Oxy is just starting out and we’re not generating revenue yet, so we can’t offer an immediate salary at the moment. However, the idea is that once the project takes off, we’ll be able to fairly reward those who have been here from the beginning. If you’re looking for an opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of something big from the ground up, this is your chance.
